Casa Nicola a light and spacious Algarve villa is a well equipped three bedroomed villa with wonderful panoramic views situated on the Franqueira Ridge. Approximately 10 minutes drive from historic Silves. The coast is 20 - 25 minutes drive from the villa. The coastal resort of Carvoeiro is approximately 20 minutes by car where there are sporting facilities and good beaches.

Wherever possible we offer flexible changeover days for Casa Nicola except during July and August which is a Saturday only.

Faro Airport is 40 minutes drive.

There are many restaurants, bars and a variety of interesting shops in Silves. The castle, museum and cathedral are well worth a visit during your stay.

The villa has a walled garden with a gated entrance and driveway with ample parking. The terraces overlook the pool which has a covered terraced area ideal for alfresco dining with ample leisure furniture and and 2 barbecues.

The heated swimming pool (9m x 5m) has a small separate paddling area for children at the shallow end. The main pool is 1 metre at the shallow end and 2.3 metres at the deep end. The baby pool is about 0.5 metres. The pool area is terraced.
Beyond the pool area is a small garden with shrubs and trees.

GOLF
Silves has a new golf course only 10 mins by car from the villa. Also nearby are the highly rated Vale de Pinta and Gramacho courses. The wonderful new course at Alcantarilha 'The Oceanico Amendoeira Faldo Golf Resort' is 6km away. Designed by Nick Faldo with strategic play in mind this 6,604 meters par–72 championship course demands careful positioning to score well. The Oceanico Amendoeira O'Connor Golf Resort is perfectly complementing the Faldo Course, whilst taking advantage of the rich valley soil in contrast to the arid hillside, Christy O'Connor Jnr's course at Amendoeira offers no less of a challenge.

Casa Nicola is suitable for up to six people plus cot (cots and high chairs may be hired in) and offers the following accommodation:-

Lower floor:

Dining room with arch leading to lounge area with fireplace -satellite TV, DVD and CD player. French windows leading to the steps to the terrace and pool.

Bedroom 1 with twin beds on the lower floor. French window opening onto the pool terrace.
Bedroom 2 en suite double bedroom upstairs with balcony.
Bedroom 3 en suite with twin beds upstairs with balcony.

BATHROOMS

Shower room, wc and handbasin to bedroom 1.
En suite bathroom to bedroom 2 with bath, shower over bath, hand basin, wc and bidet.
En suite bathroom to bedroom 3 with bath, shower over bath, hand basin, wc and bidet.

Linen, household and pool towels provided.

Hi Julia

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your help this year in finding accommodation for us. We have thoroughly enjoyed both holidays. As a point of interest to you perhaps – we checked in on-line this time - easy on the way out but not so easy on the way back. We contacted the villa management office to enquire where there was an internet café and they told us about the Peter Pan café in Silves. Unfortunately we were not able to print boarding cards there, but the assistant told us to try in the library. Here you can check in on-line and print your boarding cards for no charge. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. This information might be useful to put in your villa information books which are the best I have seen –by the way.

We had a wonderful holiday at your villa. The facilities were great and we had more than enough room, in fact it has made our house look quite small !
