The town has a good choice of shops, restaurants and market. Carvoeiro is the nearest coastal resort being approximately 10-15minutes drive. There are many other beaches to visit in this area.

The swimming pool measures 8m x 4m, depth 1-2m with graduating steps and a pool terrace set in a pleasant garden with shrubs, trees, flowers and a built in barbecue.

LEISURE ACTIVITIES

Silves Golf an 18 hole course is situated 2.8km from the villa. There are a number of other golf courses within 10-15 minutes drive from Villa Mimosa.

Two large water amusement parks offering fun attractions for children are easily reached from Carvoeiro and Silves.

THE ZOO MARINE centre has dolphins and shows daily.

KRAZY WORLD is an ideal family attraction with crazy golf, quad biking area, swimming pool, restaurant, pony rides, crocodile park and petting farm with a wide variety of animals which include llamas, deer, wallabies, camels and more. Krazy World is 20 minutes from Silves by car.

A quick note to let you know what a wonderful holiday we had in Villa Mimosa. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the villa and how well equipped it is. The most exciting part for my 11 and 8 year olds was the “barbie drawer” - so much choice that even the maid, Isobel, remarked that they played very well together with no fighting! The youngest girl learned to swim in the pool and we were even able to entice my mother into the water – first time on 28 years!

We are seriously thinking about returning next summer so will be in contact in a few month’s time.
